Complete innocence occurs when the hero is dignified because his or her innocence and courage is toppled.  Complete innocence often represents a new beginning, hopefulness and belief of only beauty.  In complete innocence, the hero is often young and/or female. 

            Complete innocence can also refer to a state of unknowing, where the individual’s experience is less than another’s.  In order to reach complete innocence, it is essential for the hero to experience a particular struggle.  This causes them to grow and move from innocence to experience.  They will be given the freedom to choose what is right for them and regain the strength they had initially lost from their battle.
